Südbeck Nutzfahrzeuge wins the Service Quality Award Germany and takes a very good 2nd place in the "Service Quality Award - worldwide"!
Out of more than 400 registered truck service companies from Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Commonwealth of Independent States, the three best MAN service teams made it through to the final in the course of four rounds of the competition.
In Munich, Managing Director Günter Südbeck, Heiner Busche, Walter Fienhage, Michael Wischnewski and Verena Kellermann (from left to right) were delighted with the confirmation of the excellent service quality.
Thomas Auwärter (Head of After Sales Management MAN Truck & Bus Deutschland GmbH, 4th from right) and Lars Essmann (Senior Vice President After Sales MAN Truck & Bus AG, 2nd from left) also congratulated the SÜDBECK team on their successful performance.

In November 2006, the company in Cloppenburg celebrated its 25th anniversary. Many people accepted the invitation to the open day in the industrial area, including numerous celebrities from politics and business. Old contacts were cultivated and new ones made over coffee and cake as well as hearty food and drinks. Interesting exhibitions, presentations by suppliers and self-built special vehicles rounded off the event.
February 2005
Neoplan appoints Südbeck in Bakum as contract partner for its buses.

July 2004
Südbeck becomes a certified Eurogarant service company in Bakum.

July 2003
Gigant, manufacturer of special axles, turns Südbeck into a service base.

May 2003
The extension in Cloppenburg is completed in May 2003: A spacious, 38-metre-long test hall significantly expands the company's capabilities, and the repair reception and sales room are also modernized and converted.
The extension in Bakum will also be handed over this month. The centerpiece is an additional 53 x 32 meter hall for special services, such as vehicle construction, frame straightening benches for trucks, semi-trailers, trailers and a refrigerated vehicle center. The plant in Vechta, now almost seventy years old, is being closed in order to offer our customers in Bakum more space and better transport connections.

Südbeck becomes Kraker service base.

December 1999
The statutory safety tests can be carried out in all three plants. A short time later, Südbeck becomes a Haldex service partner.

June 1999
BPW, a partner of Südbeck since the 1960s, appoints Südbeck as a "Direct Partner". Südbeck becomes the official service center of one of the most important manufacturers of ultra-modern axles.

May 1997
The food industry depends on reliable refrigerated transportation, and trucks depend on reliable technology. Südbeck receives the Carrier Transicold Service base in Bakum and is thus the only authorized service partner of the world's largest manufacturer of refrigeration machines between Osnabrück and Bremen.

January 1997
For the local livestock farming industry, Südbeck starts building live poultry trailers developed in-house and quickly sets the market standard for such vehicles.

December 1994
Further expansion - Südbeck now employs almost 50 people - now takes place on a new site in Bakum, right next to the A1 highway.
Südbeck becomes a Wabco Service Center, SAF Service Base and offers BSU, SP according to §29, AU according to §47, all services according to §57b and, as before, the 24-hour emergency service.

November 1981
The Vechta site becomes too small and further expansion is only possible at another location. The industrial area of Cloppenburg-Emstekerfeld is chosen.
The MAN authorized workshop in Cloppenburg is opened here and - like the parent company in Vechta - offers all services in accordance with §57b, §47a and §29. In addition to the frame straightening bench in Vechta, Südbeck now also has a cab straightening bench. A 24-hour emergency service is offered for the first time.

Junary 1979
In January, the eldest son, master blacksmith and car mechanic Günter Südbeck, takes over his father's company and has been managing the company's fortunes ever since.

October 1977
The company's own frame straightening bench was put into operation, another important step towards a competent and comprehensive commercial vehicle service for all makes.

March 1961
March 1, 1961 was an important day in the history of the company. Ludwig Südbeck becomes an authorized MAN workshop and is thus a service company for the trucks of the second largest manufacturer of heavy commercial vehicles. He also offers all services in accordance with §57b, §47a and §29 and the parking heater customer service for "Webasto" and "Eberspächer".

June 1952
The war has been over for seven years, Germany is experiencing an upswing. The goods produced have to be distributed and the number of trucks is growing at double-digit rates every year. Like everywhere else, there is a lot of construction going on in South Oldenburg, the region around Vechta. Trucks with tipper bodies become an important factor. The Ludwig Südbeck company acquires hydraulic know-how and becomes a customer service partner of the Meiller tipper company - the only one far and wide!

April 1937
April 1937, exactly 10 years to the day after taking over the company, he builds a workshop hall with an office on a 3,000 square meter site at Oldenburger Straße 21, far from the city gates. Vehicle construction becomes an important pillar in the context of motorization, and the first brake test stand is put into operation. Business flourishes, but the war thwarts his growth plans for the time being.

April 1927
In April 1927, master farrier and blacksmith Ludwig Südbeck Sr. (1902 - 1989) takes over the blacksmith business of his grandfather, master blacksmith Krümpelbeck, in Kronenstraße in Vechta. There he shoed horses and built the first individual carriages to order.
